Outback steakhouse is an Australian-themed American casual dining restaurant chain, serving American cuisine, based in Tampa, Florida with over 950 locations in 23 countries throughout the world. The Outback Steakhouse branch along the stretch of C-5 highway decided to relocate to the nearby Eastwood City commercial and residential development area. The relocated branch required a brand new system for background music. The result is an active and upbeat environment, wherein the volume levels of certain areas can be controlled individually. The steakhouse can accommodate plenty of guests. The new background music system used a total of 12 CMX20T and 4 CM6E ceiling loudspeakers distributed evenly along the ceiling of the establishment. The effective use of 1 E-VOL40 and 2 E-VOL60 volume wall controls allowed for easy control even when the restaurant is packed. The entire system is powered by the highly flexible MA200 mixing amplifier which can provide more than sufficient power for extended use for background music applications.
